In 2020, Curren$y’s production of music was extremely high (as with previous years). Spitta released seven projects last year, without anyone looking. He worked with DJ’s, producers, and artists to create collaboration projects. Buy why? Curren$y’s a legend especially at this point. His name synonymous with marijuana. He has a cult following that rivals some of you favorites.
Curren$y & Fendi P - Swang
Spitta had a big year last year. Ya’ll know, I’m all about giving flowers and shedding light. Curren$y might be one of the more underrated artist in the game. We released a MEDALS album review on the Out Runners, a solid project that he released with Harry Fraud. I’ve been listening to a lot of Smokin’ Potnas, a project Curren$y dropped with Fendi P. Some of my favorite songs were Swangin’ and Eye of the Tiger.
Almost right after we dropped the Medals article on The Outrunners, Curren$y released The Director’s Cut. This project featured one of my favorite songs all year Quicksand featuring Trippie Redd. Another solid project that Spitta seemed to put together effortlessly. Last month he dropped Welcome to Jet Life Recordings to end the year. Moving like a rookie, Curren$y is adding to his legacy and maintaining his audience’s approval.
