Freddie Kane Bunny Rabbit Insane. Freddie has a different come up then most rappers. He signed his deal in 2006. There’s been a long fight of ups and downs, beefs, and shootings. Freddie still comes out on top. I’ve been following Freddie Gibbs since his mixtape, Baby Face Killa. Always been a dope rapper but he hit a switch with Shadow of a Doubt in 2015 using more melodies while still rapping with Black Thought. (Thought got him)

In 2017, Freddie Drops You Only Live Twice. This was an album written during trying times. He was looking at charges for sexual assault in Austria. All charges were dropped. One classic sequel to a Madlib album (where he gets Thought back) and a Album with Curren$y later, Gibbs is back in stride releasing an album with alchemist which will probably be talked about in rap album of the year convo (again). It’s hard to Debate against with songs like Baby $hit (hey Doja Cat) and Scottie Beam (hey Scottie Beam). Not to mention features from Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, and Tyler The Creator.
It might time to think about where we’re gonna put Freddie Gibbs when it’s all said and done. He raps as good as the Kendricks and Coles. He’s independent He’s consistent and plus I really like those shirts he makes about Akademiks.
