The prolific Nipsey Hussle is one of the biggest losses in Hiphop in recent memory. It’s a tragedy that Nipsey Hussle was taken from us at such a young age. Nipsey represented grinding, hustling, and sticking to the script. He was an innovator and was fearless. When it came to his music, he was always showing growth and wasn’t afraid to try to become a better artist.

It has been said the legendary artist will get his star on the walk of fame. He has become an influential symbol in hiphop. His name still holds respect in the game even after his demise. Marathon Clothing is still coming out with new products. The clothing company was created by Nipsey and his brother Blacc Sam. The marathon store in Crenshaw has become a must-see attraction for anyone who travels to Los Angeles.

The dominance and the impact of Nipsey Hussle after his death is large. Artists from all over reference him in their songs. His name is synonymous with respect in the hiphop culture.

J. Stone, an artist that was very close to Nipsey, has grabbed the torch and continued the marathon legacy. He delivered an amazing album that would have made Nipsey proud. The album feature two verse from Nipsey on it. One was said on the best Nipsey verses. Nipsey also was featured on a record with Jay-Z. What It Feels like a record that was released earlier this year and finally connected the West Coast Legend with one of his Idol. Top of the Top.

Nipsey Hussle Birthday is this month and he was a huge inspiration for me and many of my friends. I used a lot of his interviews to give me the confidence to start something out of nothing. So I started this newsletter last year and now I get a chance to continue to celebrate those who inspired me.
