Jim Jones is set to have a big year. The New York vet has released multiple classic projects and is by far the most active member of The legendary Diplomats. This year Jim is set to release more than three projects. With that much music from an artist that already has made his mark on the culture, I feel like it could elevate that artist to an entirely new level.

Jim Jones has become a great artist to watch. He has gotten better with each project in my opinion. As far as beat selection and lyrics Jimmy has really been killing everything. He released his project Wasted Talent in 2018. It was critically acclaimed with production from Heatmakerz. Which is always a great combination. The project featured Jadakiss, Cam’ron, and Yo Gotti.

The following year even after the great claim for his project Wasted Talent, Jimmy follows up with El Capo. He takes it to another level with songs like Cristal Occasions and Make No Issues Of It. That’s two great albums in the past four years and don’t forget The Fraud Department. He’s planning to release more.

So far Jim Jones has released his DJ Drama assisted Gangsta Grillz We Set The Trends. The project is intended to show off the new NYC sound featuring artists making a lot of noise in New York including Rah Swish and Connie Diamond. One of my favorite songs is Fit Lit (Betty White) featuring Maino, Fabolous, and Dave East. Up Next for Jim is his project with Maino and he also has a project with Hitmaka that is also supposed to drop this year.

With all of these projects releasing this year from Jim Jones, Do we have to put more respect on his name?
