It’s always a constant reminder that everyone in Atlanta is doing something productive, in the bag. Whether it be doing nails, photography, or in this case music. Entrepreneurship and music are at an all-time high in Atlanta, everyone’s doing it big and creating a lot of buzzes.
I was always in choir from Kindergarten all the way up until high school. I tried out for choir once I got to college but they turned me down, we don’t have to get into that. Music was always the one thing I wish I had the courage to tap into. Singing has always been more of a hobby of mine v. nothing I can turn into something. I think I'm just scared to fail at the one thing I’m passionate about, but you never know how far you’ll get if you don’t at least push yourself. The ladies involved in the upcoming “G.I.R.L Tour” embraces that courage when it comes to their craft and esthetic as a musical artist.
“If you’re interested in expanding your musical taste, the “G.I.R.L. Tour” is the next big thing. Just imagine all that positive energy in the air sustained by powerful confident women with music involved.”
“G.I.R.L.” stands for “Goddess in Real Life”, super catchy right? I think it’s a twist on the word girl, yes you’re a female but it’s something deeper than that because you’re more than just a girl; in this case a goddess. If you’re interested in expanding your musical taste, the “G.I.R.L. Tour” is the next big thing. Just imagine all that positive energy in the air sustained by powerful confident women with music involved. Ruth Raia provides the sweet, Queenie La Soul with the bold, Bri Feel and Mishijah coming with the sexy. Last but not least, SiMaya hitting us with the fiery; five women, one stage.
The tour is expected to pop off sometime in the Fall, couldn’t think of a better time with COVID restrictions being lifted and everyone thirsty for a taste of live music and something to do. ladies.
