THE GOLDEN TROPHIES is a black-owned streetwear company. The brand uses inspiration from artistic and cultural influences. They are a streetwear line I’ve been following for a while now. We wrote an article about them in June of last year talking about their trucker hats and bucket hats and they’re back with some Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant tees.
Now they’re back with their Study Greatness Tee and their Kobe Day tee which you can find on their website. The Golden Trophies is a brand that will not get lost among other streetwear lines. They stand out with their specific mission statements and visual consistency.
With the brand being so focused on winners and winning you have to wonder what winning means to the person behind this brand. I wanted to find out, so that’s what I did. I reached out to CHAAP the man behind Golden Trophies to find out what his definition of winning was. His response was simple.
“My definition of winning is getting up every day and seeing myself within others. To help a journey become successful whether it’s on the way to a win or at the very end of a win.”
To me winning is about encouraging yourself or others to finish what you started with pride. It is to believe in yourself and give yourself grace. It means to learn from your mistakes but also have a short-term memory for them.
Make sure you support this up-and-coming streetwear line.
