This Month our Independent artist of the month is none other than Trenton, New Jersey rap artist Big Ooh! The rapper has been putting work in for a very long time. He is respected by everyone he seems to come across. One of my favorite projects from Big Ooh! is 4 Nights in Miami with production from Roadsarts the project has a real smooth vibe.

Big Ooh’s journey was long if you do your research you’ll find out that Big Ooh has done songs with Gillie The Kid, Meek Mill, and also has been working with Jadakiss through the So Raspy record label. Big Ooh is one of New Jersey’s most successful artists that have yet to really get his shine. I do believe that will change.

To put things in perspective Big Ooh is signed to one of the most respected artists in hiphop right now and all the time. Being signed to an artist like Jadakiss has to spark some more inspiration for Big Ooh to keep pushing and get to where he wants to be as an artist. I can definitely hear Big Ooh on a record with Nino Man another So Raspy artist. It would be dope to see kiss pass Ooh the Torch.

The reason we chose Big Ooh as the Independent Artist of the Month is that he has worked hard than a lot of artists that are out now. He comes from a city that doesn’t get too much recognition for music and it was probably difficult to make it out of that place. With all the odds against him, he still managed to keep pushing and make some great moves in the industry make sure you do your due diligence and listen to some Big Ooh! today!
