Baby Keem could have been last month’s cover. He’s been making a lot of noise since the release of his album The Melodic Blue. The album has numerous records on it that are great. Baby Keem should be considered when thinking about which artists put out the album of the year.

Baby Keem’s peerless sound was always good but something about this project was more cinematic. The album has highs and lows as you listen to it. Baby Keem takes you in many directions. The best songs on the project have multiple changes throughout the track. An example of this would be trademark usa. It’s like four songs in one and they’re all good.

You could really play the entire album front to back. Baby Keem uses a lot of different voices. He has a lot of his own slang. I think it’s really important for him to have fun while he making music. The album has features from Kendrick Lamar on a few songs Vent is one that gets slept on.

It’s hard for me to say what my favorite song is on the album. As I’m looking at the tracklist and at this moment right now it’s probably cocoa. The beat is just crazy and Booman just floats on the track.

It’s important to note Baby Keem handle most of the production on the project. I think Baby Keem has already done some legendary things. We wrote about Baby Keem last year when he was dropping singles that would eventually end up on The Melodic Blue. I want to see what Baby Keem will do in the up coming years. And of course maybe he knows where the Kendrick album is.
