Pros & Cons:
Pros: On Uncommon Kyle gives us that L.A R&B sound mixed with his own flavor and style. From his previous project it seems his tone and singing ability have grown. The features on this EP are excellent and everyone blends with Kyle in their own way, making it difficult to pick a stand out feature. Which is a nod to his versatility being able to transition from rapping with Blue Bucks Clan to heavy singing on Water with Damar Jackson displaying just how talented Kyle Banks is.
Cons: As the name suggests we expected this EP to introduce us to Kyle in a new light dibbling and dabbling with some sounds we aren’t as accustomed to hearing him on. However, he chose to stick with doing what he does best. Which is fine but seems like a missed opportunity to showcase more of Kyle to his fans.
