Pros & Cons:
Pros: Who is Quail? This mixtape is a great response to that question. Throughout this project you get to hear different sounds and styles from artist Quail P, where he shows his versatility and ability as a song writer! Quail is a singer and rapper and showcases both very well on this debut.
Cons: This album has a lot of upside and is great for a debut project, however it does suffer from not being well balanced. A lot of the more meaningful and ever more catchy songs occur before halftime, leaving the last half of the songs to slightly bring the energy down. Also a few of the songs had recognizable beats from popular songs allowing it to be partially difficult to hear their complete uniqueness. All in all, this was a great introduction to an upcoming artist worth keeping your eye on.
