In the middle of spooky October, we bring you a horoscope that explores our faults, guilty pleasures, and horrible predispositions. Well, maybe we’re exaggerating a little. Are you scared yet? Aries

Passions unmatched and the persistence of The Ram, my dear Aries, meet your dark side. Has anyone ever told you that you were a bit impulsive? When that passionate fire burns a little too bright, you’re also most likely to lose your cool and lose sight of what’s important. Your darkest traits make you bull-headed and selfish. You and Jack Skellington favor a bit in that way. He convinces his entire town to help him on a misguided road to self-destruction- totally convinced that he’s right, of course. His story maybe innocent, but his behavior is not.

Oh Taurus, you love your creature comforts, don’t you? But maybe you should work on curbing your appetite occasionally. The dark side of Taurus is overindulgent, stubborn, and insatiable. Oh, but you’re a tasteful glutton and a smart one to boot. Much like Audrey II- Seymour Krelborn’s favorite plant who grew mad with hunger and drove him to do unspeakable things. That sounds strange, doesn’t it? Lend this musical number an ear, an eye, and maybe a few limbs to see what we’re talking about.

Gemini

There’s something particularly cold and piercing about an air sign’s shortcomings, especially you, notorious Gemini. Your witty banter and racing mind can easily lend to disaster. A Gemini whose dark side is showing will be duplicitous and even intentionally hurtful. Your love for mind games makes a formidable foe out of you. I’d hate to be on your bad side. Leo

When a Leo is not at their best, they may hear the phrase “get over yourself,” a time or two. Your darkside is viewed as selfish, over-the-top and maybe a little vain. The double toil and trouble character of Winifred Sanders may suit your dark side. Winnie and her sisters would go to great lengths to preserve their looks. Tuck the kids in safely before turning on this classic flick.

Virgo

Ah, I bet you already know what we’re going to say, Virgo. You may be perceived as uptight on a regular day but on a bad day you’re super judgmental and lack the wherewithal to properly self-reflect. Your scary dark side is reminiscent of Dr. Hannibal Lecter. This character can psychoanalyze anyone and does his best work when he’s judging other people. What a meticulous and scary villain. Should you choose to watch his multiple series long story unfold, we feel the need to warn you- don’t eat during this movie.

What can we say? You know you’re charming. That can certainly be used to deceive others. At your worst, Libra, you are dishonest and flippant toward other people. You use people for your own entertainment. Your character alignment is Dr. Peter Venkman. He’s witty (and hilarious), approaches even the strangest of situations with a nonchalant attitude and is a total playboy. Pull up your chair for this fun tale and expect a few giggles.

Scorpio

Let’s face it, Scorpio- you can be a little scar- uh, we mean, intimidating in general. A Scorpio who’s at their wit’s end is dangerous. You may find it difficult to control a temper brought on by mistreatment. Your dark side is vengeful, unforgiving and unreasonable. Nancy Downs’ power-hungry spiral fits your explosive tendencies. Her character takes no bull and razes her path to a satisfying crisp… and absolutely takes things too far. Grab some popcorn and watch her get consumed by rage but uh- we hope you don’t relate to her too much.

Sagittarius

You love yourself a good time! When things aren’t so peachy for your anymore things go south quickly. A scorned Sagittarius is insensitive, hypocritical, and dismissive of anything that doesn’t fit their agenda. It’s hard enough to get one of you to sit down and listen to anyone to begin with! You remind us of Maximillian the vampire. On a seductive quest to get what he needs and will do whatever he can think of to get it. Follow him on his hilarious journey through New York to sate his desires.

Capricorn

Hello, Capricorn- we understand that you will not agree with our assessment, but it needs to be said. Capricorn’s dark side is smug, pretentious, and condescending. You will have a hard time accepting criticism and failure during your dark moments. We think Rose the Hat embodies these tendencies perfectly. She completely unravels when she is bested- didn’t even think it was possible. The more she loses the more dangerous she becomes. Watch her twisted mind unfold before you.

Aquarius

Aquarius, get back here! We see you trying to duck out and yes, you could use a healthy dose of criticism- even if you think you already know it. You tend to excuse yourself from bad behavior in the name of “self-awareness” and intellect. Your dark side is cold, lazy, and cowardly. Much like the character Jigsaw. He sets up his victims to have to torture themselves for his entertainment while he is nowhere to be found. The true mark of a dark Aquarius is causing mayhem without putting themselves in harm’s way. Jigsaw will rattle your spirit in this creepy movie.

Pisces

You’re a sweetie, Pisces, but we know what’s on the other end of the stick. You struggle with taking responsibility for your shortcomings. Your dark side causes you to be intentionally aloof and mysterious. You may martyr yourself to protect your self-righteous image and you will go out of your way to hide your misdoings, but they will eventually come to light. Your dark side reminds us of Adelaide Wilson and Red. The plot in her storyline is unsettling. You’ll find yourself tethered to your seat as her and Red share screen time.
