Even with all that’s going on in 2020 R&B music has been cutting through. There has been a lot great music and I couldn’t name them all so here’s a list of the Top 5 R&B Artist this year so far…

Teyana Taylor.

After not being satisfied with her last project, Teyana went back to studio and took control and what we got was The Album. With 23 tracks she seemed more comfortable being in control. cuts ( Wake Up Love Featuring Iman, Let’s Build Featuring Quavo, Shoot it up Featuring Big Sean.)

Chris Brown

Chris is coming off a big year, No Guidance is still ringing off. Chris Brown even ended up on Drake’s album this year and maybe there are some more songs from them somewhere. Slime & B recently dropped with Young Thug and the single Go Crazy is getting a lot of spins. cuts (Go Crazy, Wake Up dead with T-Pain)

H.E.R.

The young queen keeps sliding out singles. In 2020, so far, H.E.R. has kept fans interested. They can’t wait to see what style of music she chooses to dominate next. Summer Walker

From Justin Bieber to Moneybagg Yo, it’s been a busy year for Summer. In 2019, she dropped Over it and ever since has been on a run of features. She recently dropped her new EP Life On Earth. cuts (Let It Go, SWV, and White Tee Featuring NO1-NOAH)

Jhene Aiko

The Pussy Fairy has arrived. The single alone was great, but I’m not sure we knew we were gonna get such a great album from Jhene. A solid 20 songs Chilombo was a nice listen front to back.
