KENDRICK VS JOEY

Last week, we wrote about Joey Badass going up against the West Coast, including Ray Vaughn (Vaughn Wick) Daylyt, and others. After we dropped our last write-up up more music came out from all sides, but one thing that’s been consistent is Joeys mentioning of Kendrick Lamar.
Whether by name or by referencing lyrics from Kendrick’s battle with Drake, Joey hasn’t missed an opportunity to talk about Kendrick. Why is that? Joey is jealous of Kendrick, he’s battling the whole West Coast, and the entire time, he’s begging Kendrick to say his name. As much as I enjoy the music from everyone, this is kinda corny to be calling out Kendrick
Joey isn’t on the same level as Kendrick Lamar, not with numbers (which it’s not even about but worth mentioning), but he’s not on his level as far as impact or lyricism, in my humble opinion. Not to mention that Kendrick strangled a goat last year. His next battle can’t be Joey after Drake; that’s just crazy.
I don’t believe Kendrick should respond to any of the shots that Joey’s taking. He has nothing to gain; he’s already cemented his legacy on a top-tier all-time level. Why would you say anything to Joey after coming off a year like Kendrick had?
